In February 1997, Knowledge Adventure was acquired by CUC International, Inc. as in, no error messages, no game, literally nothing. In August of 1995, Knowledge Adventure acquired Fanfare Software, which developed the titles JumpStart Kindergarten and JumpStart 1st Grade. It was also re-released by Davidson & Associates in 1998 under the name Davidson's Learning Center Series. JumpStart Kindergarten was the first installment in the JumpStart series, as well as Knowledge Adventure's first curriculum-based product.
